Chapter Five: The Haunted Mansion

Image
Chapter Five: The Haunted Mansion             It was hard enough for Star and Marco to even explain to the Ghostbusters who they were. The M.I.B. erased their memories of them. As far as they were concerned, the princess from Mewni and the karate boy were total strangers. They (with T’Eve, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy) were fortunate to have bumped into Bart and Homer Simpson just a block away from Gusteau’s, which was where they found Jacqueline Zeddemore and Drs. Venkman, Stantz, and Spengler, along with the Descendants.             After a run-through of the events that surrounded the Bill Cipher incident from a couple of years back, they caught the Ghostbusters up on their current situation: helping them to find the warrior with the chainsaw for a hand.             “O-kay,” said Venkman, sounding a little dubious. “I’m tryin’ to decide if that’s possibly the most hardcore or weirdest thing I’ve heard tonight.”             “It sounded pretty hardcore when I heard it,” Bart sa

Chapter Four: Distant Travelers

Chapter Four: Distant Travelers             “Quaint lil’ town, Gravity Falls,” Captain Jace admired as her tricorder beeped in hand, working to detect the energy from the spellbook that she, Milo, Zack, and Melissa hoped was there.             “It really is,” Milo concurred. “It makes me wonder if Star and Marco were talking about the same place.”             “Well, I am picking up bizarre activity somewhere here,” Jace noted.             “That’s to be expected,” said a voice that snuck up from behind, terrifying Jace and the youths out of their wits. They spun around to see two young girls and a blond woman in a black leather jacket with matching yoga pants. The woman tried speaking with an air of authority that just seemed to come off as friendly in her voice. “What business do you four have here in Gravity Falls?”             “Why? Are you the sheriff?” Zack asked in earnest.             The woman hesitated to respond. “N-No…not exactly.”             “She’s more li

Chapter Three: Hot Night

Chapter Three: Hot Night             Gravity Falls, Oregon was a breeding ground for supernatural and extraterrestrial activities. It was just two years ago when Bill Cipher emerged from the Nightmare Realm, just as an all-female Ghostbusters team from another dimension came to town. Had it not been for their bravery, along with that of the Ghostbusters of the present dimension (the aesthetically-named “Disney Ghostbusters”) and the Men in Black, the whole of reality would’ve certainly been wiped out.             Nevertheless, threats still remained within the town’s limits. They might not have been as dangerous or deadly as Bill Cipher, but someone still had to keep them in check. With the female Ghostbusters team no longer defending the town, the M.I.B. thought it best to keep a pair of agents stationed to deal with the weirdness.             Agents Jay and Kay, who were present during the Cipher incident, passed on the opportunity, due to their commitments in the New York se
